What is a Resiplan & What sets them apart?

resiplans

A Resiplan is an especially tailored, high quality Site Plan. It is tailored to suit a specific purpose. It contains all the information you need to carry out that purpose, no less, no more. You only pay for what you need, no more. By using the latest information gathering tools and technology Resiplans have proved to be much quicker and more accurate than conventional survey measurement without any cost penalty.

Site plans are sometimes referred to as a â€˜Detail & Contour Survey’. A Resiplan is much more than that. Without doubt it's one of the very first things you should commission before engaging other design or building specialists.

The thing is – don’t skimp on it! Go for quality and you will be rewarded in spades. Every consultant you deal with after that point will be mightily impressed and you will make their job easier and save them time. They may even be inclined to give you a better price as a result.

Resiplans are like a pictorial encyclopedia

Resiplans are like an encyclopedia of your property – all contained on one page!

But wait there’s more! A good site plan will have lots of information about things outside your property as well, if required, for your project because proper planning sometimes requires detail about things external to your property, not just what is contained within your boundaries.

Things like power poles, fire hydrants, sewer lines, their depth, their fall, sewer invert levels, street levels among many other things.

In fact if you are seeking to build something like a multi-unit project or something that requires a Council development approval [DA] a relevant Resiplan will include lots of information about neighbouring properties. Things like the location of improvements on neighbouring sites which may be useful for calculating things such as shadows, views, loss of views, privacy (e.g. where exactly are their windows located?) trees and such like.

So, what sets Resiplans apart?

As we said earlier, Resiplans are tailored to suit the purpose - the project at hand. This is backed by the broad-based knowledge held by the Resiplans team in understanding the specific needs of each project type.

This may sound like just another piece of marketing rhetoric but it's not. It's about accurately locating detail, first time, that will be needed. No expensive site re-visits required or even more expensive mistakes resulting from inaccurate or missing information.

Resiplans

No more string lines attached to posts that may not even be on the boundary - Resiplans use 21st century equipment that delivers accuracy

Imagine building a granny flat in your back yard only to find out that you cannot physically connect it to the sewer, or a carport too close to the road or side boundary without adequate planning approvals? We see it all the time! Imagine the cost of remedying these things when they could have been avoided at the outset.

A Sales Aid

Have you ever wondered why some properties sell for more money or perhaps sell quicker or both? This is another area where initiating a ResiPlan has proven beneficial.

We have seen properties well presented with a Resiplan as well as the usual photos achieve these sorts of results. This especially applies to properties with further development or renovation potential. A good quality site plan will quickly identify potential issues as well as possibilities with any property, so do not skimp – this is an area where you almost always should be aiming for quality.

Resiplans

The old ways were great in their day - but time has moved on! The new ways will get you there faster & safer for no extra cost - so, given the choice which type of site plan would you choose?

There are many other areas where a Resiplan could prove really useful and beneficial so if you have a project in mind give us a call or make contact and we can firstly discuss IF and then HOW a ResiPlan my benefit you
